I was 199 pounds when I got pregnant and 227 when I delivered. After Lily was born I got all the way down to 170 by doing nothing differently. I continued doing nothing and gained some of it back. When I hit 189 at the end of 2010 I made a decision to not hit 190 again.
My goal weight is 160 but it's about more than that. It's about healthy food decisions and exercising more. I want to be fit. I want to be able to walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. I want to play with my kids without getting winded.
We want to get pregnant again this fall (2011). I have a personal goal of having increased my physical exercise by that point so I can continue mild/moderate exercise while I'm pregnant. I know it'll make me feel better about myself during pregnancy as well as make pregnancy, delivery and post-partum recovery easier.
